We are revolutionizing the space industry with groundbreaking innovations that allow us to offer the best performance-to-cost propulsion systems.

Our goal is to be the propulsion provider for the next generation of spacecraft, which are essential to meet the demands and compete in the booming space market of the next decade.

We are a passionate, multicultural, and multidisciplinary team pushing the boundaries of what is possible in space propulsion technology.

We have already made history by successfully testing the world's first 3D-printed Methalox Aerospike engine, marking a significant milestone for the space industry.

We are looking for talented professionals to join our international team in Barcelona and Toulouse. At Pangea, we believe diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities make us stronger. Individually, we are different, but together we are an amazing team.

We are looking for a Supplier & Product Quality Engineer to join our workshop in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat:

About the role:

As Supplier & Product Quality Engineer, you will contribute to the execution and continuous improvement of supplier quality, quality operations, documentation control, incoming inspection, non-conformity management, and Project Quality and Product Assurance activities during a key industrial growth phase at Pangea Propulsion. Reporting to the Quality Responsible and working closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers, you will help ensure that supplier documentation, quality evidence, traceability records, and project deliverables are complete, controlled, and aligned with applicable internal, customer, and aerospace quality requirements. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow in aerospace quality while taking increasing ownership of supplier quality and Product Assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Quality

· Follow up on supplier quality issues, open actions, and corrective action plans, ensuring timely progress and proper evidence of closure.

· Track supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including quality, delivery, responsiveness, and closure of actions.

· Contribute to supplier qualification activities by collecting evidence, preparing assessment inputs, and tracking open actions in coordination with the Quality Responsible.

· Check that supplier documentation is complete, controlled, and compliant with applicable project, quality, and customer requirements.

Quality Operations

· Create, track, and support the closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring records, evidence, and actions are properly maintained.

· Coordinate and follow up containment actions for non-conforming parts under defined quality criteria and escalation rules.

· Maintain traceability records for materials, lots, parts, and components, including incoming inspection and release documentation.

· Maintain calibration and inspection records where required, ensuring information is complete, updated, and available for review.

Product Assurance & Project Quality

· Prepare and compile quality and Product Assurance documentation packages for internal and external project reviews.

· Prepare and internally consolidate European Space Agency (ESA), customer, and project-related Product Assurance deliverables in coordination with the Quality Responsible and project teams.

· Support project reviews and Product Assurance preparation by organizing evidence and tracking open quality actions for Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR), and Test Readiness Review (TRR).

· Track quality actions, deadlines, evidence, and closure status across assigned projects, escalating risks or delays when required.

Continuous Improvement

· Update procedures, templates, checklists, and workflows to support consistent quality execution and documentation control.

· Generate KPI reports, dashboards, and status updates for quality and supplier performance.

· Support digital quality tools covering NCR, CAPA, supplier quality, inspection records, document control, and traceability workflows.

What you need to be successful:

· Degree in Engineering, such as Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar; alternatively, a technical degree with relevant industrial experience.

· 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related industrial environment.

· Aerospace experience is a plus, but not mandatory; previous exposure to suppliers, production, or inspection environments will be valued.

· Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-up, with a practical mindset and willingness to learn.

· Good communication skills with suppliers and internal teams, and comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.

· Good command of Excel and Office tools; ERP experience, technical drawing reading, familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies, such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, and 8D, as well as exposure to ISO 9001 or EN 9100, will be valued.

· Fluent in English; Spanish is highly valued, and French is a plus.

What success looks like:

· Faster preparation, follow-up, and closure of NCRs, supplier actions, and quality-related open points.

· Improved documentation control, traceability, and readiness of quality evidence.

· Reduced administrative load on the Quality Responsible and stronger ownership of recurring supplier quality and Product Assurance activities.

· Strong support to industrialization milestones, Product Assurance activities, project reviews, and customer deliverables.

Why join us:

Join a company helping redefine the future of space propulsion, where you will gain real responsibility, fast growth opportunities, and exposure to advanced aerospace programs.
